It’s just over ONE MONTH until the Bolton 10K.
The race is on its usual late April slot (always same day as the London Marathon) – Sunday 23rd April at 10am – St George’s Day. We already have 500 entries so it is anticipated to be full before race day. The associated One Mile Fun Run is at 9am, and some of the junior athlete coaches will be pushing this for competition, so this should beat last year’s good turnout too.
If you are not intending to race, volunteer helpers are needed for everything from course set-up to registration, memento distribution and de-chipping at the finish, and of course, the all-important marshalling. Registration opens at Leverhulme Park at 8am and the last runner is usually in by 11.30am. It’s the club’s largest hosted event requiring a little extra in the volunteer numbers and roles; there’s no CLGP or Endurance Challenge points at stake, so please do not be shy about coming forward, perhaps even marshalling instead of running.
Please contact Steve or Dean at the track if you can spare 2-3 hours on Sunday to ensure another safe and slick BUH&AC event or email the Bolton 10K race address.
