Bright start to Red Rose for Harriers
BOLTON Harriers got off to a promising start in the Red Rose Cross Country League which kicked off in Blackburn's Witton Park last Saturday.
It was the youngest and oldest of the club's athletes who proved most successful, with good runs in the junior and veteran ranks.
William Grimshaw gave a superb performance in his first race for the club. The 10 year-old was delighted with a bronze medal in the under-11s, only tiring near the end after challenging for the lead for much of the race.
