Last Sunday 4 of our "youngsters" went over to Pendle and had a wonderful day producing such brilliant results that Les wants them made up so he can put them in the senior team!!!!
All of these athletes have just moved up an age group making their performances even more outstanding. Rachel Mcmorran, Lorna Miller and Emma Wiggans are going from strength to strength and with times like this the U15 YAL team will be very strong, these girls are a credit to the club. Rachel came 1st in both her races getting a GRADE 2 in the 200m!!! she was followed by Lorna who was 2nd in both races and Emma Wiggans joined the girls for the 200 so we got 1st 2nd and 3rd place. Emma went onto win the 800m and came 3rd in the long junp.
U13 Alex Miller also did really well coming 1st in the long jump and 3rd in both the 200 and 1500m.
