Sunday 13th April 2008 saw the one of the biggest ever 10k's organised by the club, with no less than 685 entered the race with 550 actually starting. 16 Bolton United Harriers finished with Tony Valentine taking fourth spot overall, a third place looked a certainty until an unfortunate fall turning on to the track put him back a place.
Eric Ranicar won the over 60's and Jill Hargreaves Ist Lady finisher for the club. Our men's team had a magnificent day, winning the team trophy.
